Addendum to Sailing Instructions 14:
The Compass Rose Race was originally limited to Cruisers. It was opened to Performance yachts in 2019 but with a single class (Cruising). In order to "equalize" the classes, the following PHRF adjustment was added: -6 sec/mile for each performance (non woven dacron) sail. This adjustment was dropped in 2022 but will be reinstated this year.
Please declare the number of performance sails by email to sailcommodore.staugustineyc.com, or at the Skippers' Meeting
